Academic Internship Program
CSB/SJU academic (for-credit) internships are a form of experiential learning that integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skill development in a professional setting. They:
- Are a three-way partnership between the CSB/SJU, the host organization, and the student intern
- Generally run 10-20 hours per week over a 16-week semester (or 12-weeks over the summer)
- Typically are part-time during the academic year, while students are taking classes. Full-time internships are possible, especially during the summer
- Take place locally, nationally and internationally within organizations of all sizes, types, and across all industries
- Internships can be paid or unpaid, for-credit or no-credit
